Militant and hate group Internet use grows: report (Reuters)
Reuters – The use of social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube by militant and hate groups grew by almost 20 percent in the past year, a report by the Simon Wiesenthal Center found on Monday.
Rhapsody app to sport offline listening ‘very soon’ (Macworld.com)

AP – A Venezuelan Web site that was accused by President Hugo Chavez of spreading false reports of killings said Sunday the government is trying to restrict criticism, but announced it had banned the visitors who posted the inaccurate rumors.

AP – DVD-by-mail service Netflix Inc. has canceled a sequel to a $1 million movie-recommendation contest, avoiding a potential courtroom drama over the privacy rights of its subscribers.
Prototype $200 Tablet Runs Android, Chromium OS, Linux (PC World)
PC World – $200 tablet PCs have been something of a pipe dream. There was the Crunchpad, which was supposed to be $200, but that didnât last very long, coming out as the $400 Joo Joo. If what Freescale showed off at Mobile World Congress becomes reality, though, the dream may finally come true.
IBM CEO’s pay ticked higher to $21.2M in 2009 (AP)
AP – The pay package for IBM Corp.’s CEO notched slightly higher in 2009, according to calculations by The Associated Press, as he was rewarded for a year in which the technology company wrung out big profit gains despite a rocky market that clipped sales.
