France-based Thomson commissioned the folks at EliumStudio to design a Cordless DECT VoIP Phone. It is quite an innovative looking handset with some unique features.

The phone sports an Internet radio, complete with active station/song display, a station list by location and genre, and built-in 3 watt stereo speakers. It also has an RSS reader they call Myinfokiosk. A full web browser is needed for that last feature to be useful.

The phone will work both in analog and VoIP mode and communicates between handset and base unit with a high-definition codec (G.722), helping to make your VoIP-or PSTN calls-sound that much better.
