I've seen several video viewing goggles on the market, but none of them have really "boomed". The latest to enter the competition is the i-Bean Head Mounted Video System, a product from Japan that is not video viewing goggles, but suction-cups onto regular glasses.

The company says that the i-Bean produces an image that is equivalent to viewing a 21 inch television from 1 meter away. There is a built-in TV tuner, and it operates off of AC power or 3 AA batteries.

I believe this product costs about $385.00, but I only see it available at a certain site translated from the Japanese.
