It's official. The 3G iPhone will be hitting the streets in 22 countries on July 11th; the sexy little thing will only cost $199 USD. Yes, folks, that is right for half the cost you are getting twice the speed.

In addition to the 3G radio, the new iPhone will feature dramatically improved battery technology and a real GPS (as opposed to the faux GPS the phone now features). These new features, when combined with Apple's new enterprise push support is going to be making several people very happy. By several, I mean at least 10 million this year if Apple has its way.

Look for the new iPhone to be hitting store shelves at both the Apple Stores and AT&T stores on July 11th. I bet the lines are already forming.
