Considering the popularity of the Nintendo Wii is, for the most part, based on the simplicity of its controller, it is about time that someone designed a Wiimote-like controller for PC Games.

A company called GoLive2 has done that with The Stix. GoLive2 plans to launch the Stix controller with a companion website that will have hundreds of free Web-based games.

They also plan on marketing two types of Stix: the 200 and the 400. The 200 looks to be designed just for their web-based games, while the 400 looks compatible with 2D and 3D environments.

The planned release date is sometime in August. I wonder if GoLive2 intends to put out a version of the Nunchuk.
