Muso Brings Voice Command to iPods

In just about every science fiction movie known to man, all gadgets, computers, and space ships are voice controlled. In the future, our fingers have it so easy, they barely have to type. I can hear myself telling my great grandchildren about the "old days" in about 70 years. "When I was young, I had to type on a keyboard, when I wrote, my fingers actually moved. You kids have it so easy with your fancy-shmancy talking." The Muso iPod voice control gadget from Direct Voxx is bringing the future to you iPod today.
This isn't some lame voice control that you might be used to. You don't say simple commands like "iPod on, Play." You actually communicate with the iPod in a relatively natural way. Here is an example from DirectVox about how the Muso actually works. The Muso VoiceControl gadget is able
"to understand requests such as "Play me some Led Zeppelin", "How about some Rolling Stones", "Gimme jazz" or "Go to My Broadway Tunes playlist". Acting as the user's personal DJ and creating dynamic playlists, the Muso also allows users to make requests such as "play me something like the last song."
The Muso will be available in December 2008 for $159.00. If you are ready to give your fingers a break from scrolling and clicking on your iPod, or if you just want your iPod a bit cooler, then pick up the Muso this winter.
